If you are looking for teachers who truly care and have good attention to detail to help you build a solid foundation for your musical instrument of choice then look no further than Divine Indian Music Center. It's now been about 2 weeks since I started and I'm still constantly learning and progressing each and every day. After 1 year of studying on my own, I now had to go back to the basics to re-learn the correct foundation. He was so attentive to the tiniest of details where I had bad habits that would affect my ability to play in the future from how my fingers were positioned, how I lifted my fingers, my breathing, my lip positioning on the flute, etc. From day one I had a strong feeling that Hari was a teacher I could learn and progress with for many years to come. It's been the greatest decision I've made for my Bansuri studying. In 2019 I wanted to really commit to studying the Bansuri flute and after lots of research online I found Hari Shankar at Divine Indian Music Center as someone who was highly recommended by many people with great online reviews on Trip Advisor, Google and Facebook so I decided to move out here to Dharamshala to study for 6 months after communicating with Hari and Nidhi for several weeks. I learned the basics but didn't feel much of a resonance with the teacher I was studying with in Varanasi in terms of the teaching style. I began studying the Bansuri flute with in 2018 when I visited Varanasi for 2 weeks.
